Hi,

My name is Rebecca Abigania, and I am the founder of Holistic Fitness and Health.

Many training and nutrition concepts currently either come from studies on people with illnesses or are based on men. It’s no secret that these studies have simply been generalized to women without ever being properly tested on them.

Why is this important to know?

Because women are different from men, and certain training and nutrition methods have different effects on the female body.

All of this is connected to the fact that our entire fitness culture is based on training and nutrition principles designed for men.

And that’s exactly why I founded Holistic Fitness and Health—to educate women on how to train optimally as a woman, what to pay attention to, how to eat around training, what happens during perimenopause, and how to best deal with the symptoms.
